Roy O’Connor LLP is investigating concerns regarding fuel economy and emissions levels for a number of Ford vehicles, including the 2019 Ranger and F150 pickup trucks.
In a press release issued on February 21, 2019 the Ford Motor Company confirmed that it had hired an outside firm to conduct an investigation into its Road Load Testing procedures used to determine its official fuel economy figures for submission to the US Environmental Protection Agency. Ford reports that the 2019 Ranger is the first vehicle being investigated but that other vehicles are being assessed as well. Other concerns or questions have been raised about the fuel economy of the Ford F-150 pickup truck.
Ford is cooperating with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and other regulators in the United States. In April 2019, the United States government opened an investigation into the issue.
Roy O’Connor LLP was one of the firms prosecuting the claims as against VW for its diesel emission scandal. Our firm is alive to concerns about vehicles, fuel economy and other issues.
